“Teaching voice to students of all ages brings me great joy and fulfillment. My philosophy is based in a holistic, integrative approach to music and singing: self-awareness of the mind and body, musicianship, technique, musicality, and expression, which motivates and challenges the student to learn and grow in a multitude of ways.
Singing is such a unique, personal event, and in this way, it is an honor and privilege to guide students through the process of discovering and honing their individual gifts. In combination with providing a solid musical education, I work with each student according to his or her needs and desires. The goal of each lesson is to build discipline, learn something new and exciting, enjoy the process of music-making, and instill a deep appreciation for the arts.
The experiences and knowledge gained through voice lessons can extend to and augment other areas of the student’s life.”
